About the Artist:
Louise Bourgeois was a French-born American artist known for her psychologically charged sculptures, drawings, and prints. Drawing on themes of family, memory, and identity, her work remains profoundly influential. Bourgeois continued creating art into her late nineties, gaining widespread recognition in the later part of her career. Third Drawer Down first collaborated with Bourgeois in 2008 for her Tate Museum retrospective.
