Hapun Pottery, created in Osaka, produces pieces that are both heartwarming and soothing, with hand-drawn illustrations and a unique color glaze. The pottery uses red rough clay mixed with coarse soil, giving the pieces a tactile texture with a slightly bumpy and rough feel, allowing you to sense the warmth of the earth.

Before Use: Hapun Pottery can be gently washed with mild detergent and used right away. Initially, you might see some uneven staining, but with repeated use, the stains will blend in and become less noticeable. We encourage you to use the pieces regularly, allowing them to "mature."

For Shino pottery, a water-resistant agent is applied to prevent stains. This agent is safe for food use.

Care Instructions:

• Not for direct flame or oven use.
• Microwave-safe.
• Dishwasher-safe, but hand washing is recommended.

About the Product: Each piece is handmade, so patterns, sizes, shapes, and colors may vary. There may be slight variations in glaze application, small holes, iron spots, or cracks in the glaze (called "crazing"). Over time, stains and wear are natural, but they add character to the pottery. Please note that the bottom of the pottery is polished, but it may still scratch surfaces, so handle with care.
